Most people feel very little. The needles are hair-thin, nothing like an injection. You may notice a dull ache or heaviness around a point, which is normal and passes quickly. Dry needling in a tight muscle can produce a brief twitch; that is the muscle letting go, and it is the point of the technique.
Kinetic Wellness is a direct-pay practice. Prices are posted, a small deposit holds your time when you book online, the rest is paid at your visit, and no referral is needed. Acupuncture is an HSA and FSA eligible expense, so those cards work here. [Confirm superbill policy.]
It depends on what the assessment finds. Most people start with the first-month plan: twice a week for two weeks, then once a week for two more, with a re-measure at the end of week four. From there some move to monthly maintenance, and some are simply done.
Loose, comfortable clothing you can move in. Shorts and a tank or sports bra work well so knees, hips, shoulders and back are easy to reach. Anything that needs draping gets draped.
Same needles, different traditions. Dry needling targets trigger points in a specific muscle to release it. Acupuncture works with a broader map of the body, including points that influence pain, recovery and the nervous system. Here you get both in one visit, chosen for what your assessment finds.
Yes. Book the Reset. It is built for visitors: one long, full-body session for recovery, no plan or homework required. If something specific is hurting, mention it in your request and we will work on it too.
